I have a PhD in Informatics from USI (Università della Svizzera italiana), in Lugano, Switzerland.
Interests
I’m interested in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable distributed systems. In particular:
- Replication and consensus protocols
- Distributed databases and filesystems
- Sharding and geo-distribution
